I hope sometime in life you have been on my other directory named “Web Directory“. If not probably it’s time to visit it; Because this particular template is low-fi version of the template that WebDirectory.Org.In has been using since last few months. The templates has been appreciated by lot of people and there were few requests for the template. I saw no harm in releasing a low-fi version of the same template, so here it is. Presenting the Web Directory PHPLD Theme for all new PHPLinkDirectory versions.

Web Directory PHPLD template is a two column template and has the looks of a premium template. You can have site description right on the top. With beautiful header images and structure, you of course will get your visitors on the directory even more excited. The template is a two column theme with left sidebar. The sidebar was kept broad enough to support 200pixels wide banners or Adsense advertisements. Of course you can link to your directory categories or your link partners in left sidebar. The template looks good with two column category structure only. Don’t try other number of columns as it will only break the template.

Web Directory phpLD template has been tested in all major browsers including Safari and all new Google Chrome. The template is available for phpLD 2.2, phpLD 3.2 AND PHPld 3.3. I think the template is good to go on any niche directory.

It’s a beautiful white colored template, with gray colored tree besides it. The template comes for only PHPLD Version 2.1.2 and is brought to you free by Ally’s PHPLD Templates and FreeListingZ.com.

The template is well structured, pretty good in looks and simple, almost imageless theme. It best suits in two column with 3 subcategories shown. The tree adds all the elegance in the template. Ally Directory joins hands with DirSub.com and bring to you the DirSub phpLD Template for nearly all versions! DirSub template is a free phplinkdirectory template.

In many aspects, this template is very unique. It has a different structure than many directories. It looks like an old newspaper or an old document. You do get the logo’s for the two buttons respectively for featured link and regular link. Just edit the PSD, save the image and upload it via your FTP to the images folder of your directory. Same steps goes for the logo as well.

Anyways, coming back to the structure of this directory template. Well, the template is a two column template with a left sidebar. It comes with “Latest Featured Link” mod pre-installed. EcoGreen phpLD Template is a free phpLD template for phpLD version 2.1.2, 3.0.6, 3.1.0 and 3.2.0. The basic concept behind the template was our beautiful nature. We tried putting up some nature images, but it never worked. So we decided to bring out the template in plain simple green with some gradients, just the way the nature is.

From optimization point of view, you will love this template. It’s as good as a simple HTML based template, which as you must be knowing, all search engine loves. The template has a very simple yet good looking category structure. The special feature of this template is that it shows “Latest Featured Link” as well as “Site of the Day“. Both have been placed really well. Mods and coded files have already been included in the template files. All you need to do is read instructions and implement it on the template. In sidebar, you will also find lot of space where you can put up your advertisers and partner links without making the template look bad! With menu links divided in two categories/location, you will find this template probably the cleanest of all.
