Pet Accessories
by: jogger1949 Pet owners everywhere will agree that a great percentage of their time and money goes to their beloved pets. Pets for most people are like children that need to be nurtured and pampered. Pets in return provide humans with companionship and more importantly reciprocate the affection they receive from their masters. Because of the growing number of pet owners the demand for pet accessories and products in the market has increased. Like their owners, pets have the same needs; the only difference is they rely on their masters to supply them with those needs. There are different kinds and types of accessories produced to provide comfort, healthcare, style and luxury to both pets and their owners. Healthcare should be a main priority for any pet owner, thus products that promote and ensure a healthy lifestyle for your pet is necessary. Pet accessories like feeders and water dispensers are commonly available in the market. Such accessories will keep your pets well fed and hydrated even while you're stuck in traffic on your way home. Leashes, carriers and strollers allow comfort and function for outdoor trips with your pets. Collars in every shape, size and styles are also popular, providing both fashion and identification for pets that happen to walk astray. Pet accessories span from useful to fashion, trinkets to apparel. Dogs for instance have the biggest market share for pet accessories. Canine owning celebrities have touted around their pooches as part of their personal accessory. Clothes created by retail manufacturers are now being overthrown by designer labels. Kelly Osbourne's pet pug is often dressed for comfort, wearing hoodies to keep him warm from the London chill. Young Hollywood starlets take their pups with them to the mall in strollers. Celebutante Chihuahuas are dressed mimicking their owners taste in high end fashion. Chew toys, balls, squeaky toys are some products that keep pets entertained and exercised. Tiaras, backpacks, wings and other pet accessories while not always providing function, provide fashion and trends that give pets more personality. Of course pet products aren't limited to canines alone, cats, hamsters, rabbits etc, have their own share of pet accessories. Manufacturers religiously try to incorporate human needs translated into animal needs plus some technology, purified water dispensers, preprogrammed food dispensers, dog cellphones, pet monitors, robot nannies and the likes are being marketed to tech driven owners who want to give their pets technology at paws reach. Luxurious furniture like: pet beds, sofas, exercise equipment are also available to pampered pets. Pet accessories are created so that pets would find enjoyment and comfort while bunking under one roof with their fickle minded humans. About the Author
