I totally agrre with you! Site's optimization is a good point too! But i totally disagree with the high page rank stuff. In today's world, i don't think Google passes PR to any site if linked to. We have links from high traffic sites. And we enjoy the traffic. Apparently the sites also have high PR's but we never got the PR. I think that should make it clear about the PR factor.
