But i totally disagree with the high page rank stuff. In today's world, i don't think Google passes PR to any site if linked to.
We have links from high traffic sites. And we enjoy the traffic. Apparently the sites also have high PR's but we never got the PR. I think that should make it clear about the PR factor.

Link your sites for the traffic and yes, it does help a little in SERPS as well. But do not link for PR.!</description>
