Cela was founded in 1997.The director and owner of the Spanish school is Dr. Sabine Loffler, PhD in Spanish Language of the UNED in Madrid, Spain. She also has a master´s degree in education and before founding Cela, she teached Spanish at German Universities. Sabina is teaching Spanish since 20 years. The staff of Cela Spanish School is composed of 5 teachers including the owner, all with university degree, most of them multilingual and Spanish native speakers. Margarita Island is one of the most beautiful islands in the Caribbean, only 30 minutes from Venezuela’s mainland. The Spanish immersion program at Cela is developed for the maximum improvement of the Spanish language in the shortest possible time, and is based on a very large experience in teaching Spanish as a foreign language. Because of Celas participation in many congresses about language teaching and learning around the world, we are always up to date in modern language teaching methodology. Our Spanish courses also include 3 excursions per week (mostly wonderful beaches) and accommodation in a host family on Isla Margarita (optional).
