It’s been almost a month since we last launched Blue Pearl phpLinkBid theme. The theme is doing pretty well as we already saw it live in action on few bidding directories. Ally Directory management decided that we would be launching a theme every month at least. Not necessarily a phpLinkBid theme but of other scripts as well. Hopefully we can keep up with our commitment and provide you with great themes every time.

Anyways, moving on to our new theme, it’s called Blue Text. The name tells you a little story about this theme. Blue Text phpLinkBid theme is more of a business theme with very neat and clean template. It’s low on graphics and provide a look of a business directory. Low on graphics does make it a very fast loading theme. This theme is compatible with the 1.4.x version of phpLinkBid script. We have a left sidebar in this theme that supports the link leader, categories and linkroll functionality of phpLinkBid. The theme will make your directory easily readable and little seo friendly compared to many other phpLinkBid themes. Lastly, this theme is fluid width theme and can easily be modified. Of course you can add mods like “advanced link stats” and “link effects” for much more beautification.

If you have been keeping with our templates, you must have noticed that our previous PHP LinkBid template named Black Pearl has been a good success so far. It has already been voted as the most popular template on phpLinkBid.

But at the same time we realized that many people couldn’t opt for that template as they do not prefer too much of black/dark color on their web directory. So we felt the need for a new color in that template and thus have come out with Blue Pearl PHPLinkBid Template 🙂

It’s a phpLinkBid theme compatible with version 1.4 of phpLinkBid. We surely had 1.6 version in mind but phpLinkBid is taking too long to bring it out of beta. So we launched the Blue Pearl for 1.4.2 itself. The theme has elegant looks all over with a colorful html based logo on top and description beside it. The template is all blue with easily readable text and has a right sidebar. This two column template will make your directory look extremely wonderful. Again you have the option of banner advertising in that template.  And with just one designer link and no sponsor link whatsoever, you definitely will love this template in every possible way!

It’s been a long time since we came out with a phpLinkBid template. Honestly, we never meant to design this template for phpLinkBid script. But the fact is, that we got a huge response so far, for our new wordpress theme called the Black Pearl WordPress Theme. So we felt the need to make the same template for PHPLinkDirectory and PHPLinkBid. So here  we are, presenting the Black Pearl PHPLinkBid Template…

It’s a dark theme with a big right sidebar. The theme looks good because it’s simple yet elegant. The link leader icon was carefully chosen so as to make the theme even nicer. We even placed the 125×125 banners in sidebar just to enhance the looks. What’s the best part is that the theme has absolutely no sponsor links. But of course you have to keep the designer link that is us….the Ally Directory.

The theme is fixed width, with a “About Us” box in right sidebar, followed by the link leader and the sponsors, the categories and of course your linkrolls. These individual boxes have different properties so they do not look similar all over in the sidebar.

Ally Web Directory presents their third phpLinkBid template. It’s named as Ally Tree phpLinkBid template.

Ally Tree phpLinkBid template works on phpLinkBid v 1.2 and phpLinkBid 1.4.x

Ally Tree has another innovation to it’s name. It combines the feature of both PHPLinkBid 1.0 and PHPLinkBid 1.2. So, now you can have both alphabetical and normal categories on the same bidding directory, at the same time 🙂 This of course gives the freedom to existing bidding directory owners who are running phplinkbid version 1.0 and not upgrading because of the fear of losing all the indexed pages in the popular search engines. Now, they can upgrade to v1.2 happily as this template will let them have the same alphabetical pages, that they had, plus, the freedom to add new categories as is on the other directories. The same features are in in template for phpLinkBid version 1.4.x as well.

For the advertisers, the template provides other good feature. Now, all the listings will be categorized under two categories. One would be alphabetical and the other would be the category. For example if we list “Ally Web Directory”, then the directory will be shown both in categories “A” and “Web Directories”. Thus, it is more advantageous to advertisers on your bidding directory as well. Obviously that would encourage more and more people to bid on your directories. 🙂

Coming onto the looks, well, there hasn’t been a phpLinkBid template that looks cooler than this one. Black and green dominates most of the part. But the alphabets leaves looks great and add all the beauty here. We have the main categories on right. The whole concept actually looks like a tree. Thus came the “Ally Tree” for this phpLinkBid template. 🙂

We consider this to be our best template overall. Both in terms of looks and in terms of seo friendly nature.
